Loss from sold loans

in statistics? It is sometimes positive, that confused. Thanks

If its positive it means received interest + buyback > inital loan.

If its positive it means received interest + buyback > inital loan.
the other way round
If its NEGATIVE, then there is no loss which means that received interest + late fees + principal > issued principal amount.

HI

What is “principal loss” in statistics?

In fact what - I need to understand what principal I lost on selling to bad loan compensation. Where to see these numbers?

If a 100€ Loan default, Omaraha sell it you get 60€.
So “Principal loss” is 40€.

Hi, have to revive this thread: What is the difference between “Loss from sold loans” and “Principal loss” then?
So far I got: According to Badit55555 “Principal loss” is the difference between the remaining principal and the amount Omaraha pays for selling it. A positive number means effectivly a loss for me.

So what denotes then “Loss from sold loans”, according to the start of the thread it incorporates the interest somehow. But how does this then interfere with the “Interest incl.” line…?

Honestly, I always found Omarahas way to provide information completely sick…

Hi omagbr,

I make an example:

Example: 100€ Loan
At the time of default:
- €80 outstanding principal
- 20€ principal paid before default
- 15€ interest paid before default

Then it would look like this:
Loans sold to warranty fund: 44€ (80€ * 0.55) You get 44€ from the fund
Loss from sold loans: €21 (€100 - €20 - €15 - €44)
Principal loss: €36 (€80 * 0.45) your loss

For me only “Principal loss” is important.
